New City is a participatory community-mapping project inviting people to creatively re-imagine their own cities and neighborhoods. What might the city of the future look like? What needs to change and what should remain the same? From the most immediate issues to the farthest reaches of the imagination, New City offers us an opportunity to re-write, re-shape and represent our collective futures.

In this collaborative storytelling project we offer participants an opportunity to illustrate through text and creative media what they love about their neighborhoods, what they desire to change and what their cities will look like in 10 years or more!

New City is offered in partnership with No Longer Empty’s About Face and the New Museum’s Festival of Ideas for the New City.
